Welcome!!! Thanks so much for visiting my new (well, first ever) website! It’s been a long time coming. This is definitely a work in progress but eventually this site will showcase my portfolio of fine art photography, original art, and projects I have on the go.
So to kick it off, I’m going to highlight some of the images that started it all for me back in 2013. Inspired by love, by Autumn, Linden trees and exceptionally great weather for a September in Winnipeg.
I have always loved the Fall. This year in particular though felt quite magical! My mind swirling with fun fall crafts to do with the kids, the upcoming wedding of 2 of my best friends, and the awe of newly found leaf treasures found on the way to school. Basswood leaves are already heart shaped, and I had found a bunch that I thought were lovely, along with some brilliantly red dogwood leaves. Out came the scissors, then the camera, and next thing I knew this idea spiraled into something I would look forward to for the next seven Autumns (and counting). My Leaf heART was born.
